KNWD’s second annual EDM and hip-hop fall concert, Neon Inferno, is set for Nov. 17 from 7-11 p.m. on Normal Hill. The event is free to the public, and the first 100 people who arrive will receive light diffraction glasses. There will be a water tent and KNWD swag giveaways including cups, sunglasses, drawstring bags, pens and phone card holders.

“Come get lit with us at Neon Inferno,” KNWD General Manager Noah Baudoin said. “Everybody is welcome to this concert and can expect fresh beats from our performing artists; most are local. Do not go home Friday after classes [and instead] start Thanksgiving Break off right by coming to Neon Inferno.”

The headliner this year is Djenko, an NSU alumnus who played at Neon Inferno last year as well as DemonFest. St. Branham, Jnabsbeats, The Street Corner and KNWD’s DJ Coordinator Xavier Matthews as Bexrdwn will also perform.

“I’m actually most excited for The Street Corner’s set,” Matthews said. “I collaborate with [one of the members] of The Street Corner through Senju the Satellite, and I’ve been trying to get him back up here since his last performance with us at DemonFest.”

“The line-up is great,” freshman criminal justice major Shania Worfel said. “I’m excited to see Bexrdwn the most, because he has some really great stuff. Also, the event is free, [and] free events are the best events.”
