The Student Government Association of Northwestern State University of Louisiana held their weekly meeting on Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. in the Hendrick Ballroom of the Friedman Student Union.

President Tah’j Edwards appointed a committee to oversee Stuff the Bus, the upcoming Hurricane Ida relief project. Students are asked to donate items to help the University of New Orleans by dropping them off in the SGA Office by Sept. 30.

Speaker of the Senate Grace Gosserand reported that Voter Registration Day will be held on Sept. 28.

Academic Affairs Commissioner Nicholas Cooksey stated that the SGA is looking for suggestions to improve the Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library.
