Isabel Juarez Rubio is a senior communication major with a minor in business administration at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. At NSU, Juarez works as the Arts and Living editor for the school’s newspaper, The Current Sauce. She also serves as president for the Hispanic Student Journalist Association and forms part of the Purple Jackets Honor Society. Juarez is expecting to graduate in the Spring of 2026, and until then, she hopes to continue being involved at NSU and in the town of Natchitoches.
