– Student Employment Office. They’re located on the second floor of the Student Services Building. They can give you more information on eligibility for on-campus employment and provide resources.

– Apply at other departments on campus. On campus departments that directly hire include Student Technology in Room 113 in Watson Library, Academic Service Tutors in the second floor of the Friedman Student Union and the Wellness Recreation Activity Center located on Sam Sibley Drive.

– The Job Location & Development Office is a free job service for students looking for off-campus student employment. Their office is located on the third floor of the Friedman Student Union.

– Ask businesses in the area. Calling local businesses in the area to ask if they’re hiring is a direct way to find out if they need employees.

Just remember to be dressed professionally and bring a résumé when you go in to apply. A store could choose to interview you on the spot, and it’s better to put your best foot forward.
