Tessa Rae is a singer-songwriter who grew up in Oakland, California, writing her own music in her living room with her best friend.

Tessa Rae is an upcoming artist with songs “Drunk Eyes”, “Tangled,” and “I Don’t Miss You” in the forefront of it all. She’s grown with multiple streams on Spotify, with close to 400K streams.

Rae’s music is interesting in every way from dark and dramatic, to childlike and peaceful, as she proves as she jumps from genre to genre. Rae predominantly presents herself in the indie pop genre as she writes her own songs, films her own videos and plays her music. I’m always waiting for more promising music to come.

Tessa Rae’s song “I Don’t Miss You” was the first song of hers to come across my playlist, and I could not help but feel connected to the music. It started with a beat that turned into a dance party across my bedroom as she sang about moving on from a past relationship while her ex tried to win her back.

Tessa Rae’s music gives me a feeling of comfort and freedom.
