It’s time to assemble for homecoming week and this year’s theme is “The Avengers.” The multi-million dollar movie franchise will be hitting the Northwestern State University of Louisiana campus and you, the students, will be the heroes this semester.

Dressing for this year’s theme will be an exciting time because “The Avengers” is such an awesome theme and a great time to do what you would like to do and be as goofy as you’d like while still keeping it fashionable.

With a homecoming theme, there are no rules to how you should dress or what you should or have to wear. Instead, it gives you the opportunity to have fun and let loose.

Ideas for this year’s homecoming game would be to go all out. Wearing an Avengers costume can be top-tier and a great time. This will draw attention to you and give you the chance to talk to more people on campus because they’ll enjoy what you are wearing.

Getting together with your friends and all wearing an Avengers costume is also a clever idea. Going as the original six avengers would be a fun opportunity to do something cool together.

Do not feel limited to just doing the superheroes, the villains are just as cool! Experiment with going as Thanos or the beloved Loki. They have such cool costumes and will help you embellish your outfit more for the game.

But it all does not have to be costumes and spending money on a costume you will most likely wear once.

Another great option would be to just wear some sort of avengers merch. It keeps it easy but you will also be on theme and not left out.

You could even dress it up a little by adding accessories, cool socks or even doing a makeup look inspired by one of the characters.

This is a football game, after all, so you do not need to focus on dressing up to be uncomfortable because you will be standing or sitting for most of the time, so stay wise about your options.

Along with dressing comfortably, stay mindful of Northwestern rules when it comes to wearing a full facial mask or heavy face paint to games, this is just to stop you from having to worry or stress about being stopped before entering the game.

The homecoming game is a great time for everyone on campus and visiting, and the dressing up aspect makes it even better. Therefore, do not be afraid to have fun, get creative with your friends and enjoy the weekend that you have planned.
