SGA announces swipe out for hunger applications open

At the Student Government Association of Northwestern State University of Louisiana’s meeting on Oct. 11, President Tja’h Edwards announced that online applications for Swipe Out Hunger are now live at www.nsula.edu/SwipeOutHunger.

Swipe Out Hunger is a program partnered with Sodexo where students in need of food assistance can apply for 14 free meal swipes on the Natchitoches campus.

Academic Affairs Commissioner Nicholas Cooksey noted at the meeting that the Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library Director search committee has narrowed down their search to two candidates. Cooksey said that both candidates are residents of Louisiana.
