The Sankofa African American Museum on Wheels was independently curated by Angela Jennings for her nephews to learn African history and culture. She spent 31 years traveling to Europe, the Caribbean and many countries in Africa to gather all the materials for the museum.

Madelyn Murphy is a junior with a major in communication and minors in film, photography and wildlife management. This is her third year at Northwestern State University of Louisiana and within The Current Sauce, where her former roles include reporter, Arts & Living section editor, copy editor and photo editor. Now, she is excited to focus on her passion for photography by taking on the role as a photographer. With this, she hopes to help others and herself strengthen their photography skills all whilst representing The Current Sauce.
