Anastasia Douglas, The Current Sauce – Podcast Anchor
Anastasia Douglas is a junior majoring in communications and business administration. In her second semester with The Current Sauce, she’s excited to continue contributing as the podcast anchor. She loves telling stories through the media and hopes to turn that passion into a career after graduation.
Kallie Bourgeois, The Current Sauce – Editor-in-Chief
Kallie Bourgeois is a senior communication major at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, with a concentration in journalism, broadcast and digital media production and minors in social science, gender and sexuality studies and political science. She previously served as a staff reporter, sports editor and copy editor for The Current Sauce. This is her second year as Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper; she looks forward to bridging the gap between student engagement and journalism. Kallie is also the president of the NSU’s Society of Professional Journalists student chapter and a student and early career member for NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists.
